Shri N P Bhalodia High School

Our school sits right on College Road in Junagadh. It’s a familiar spot for anyone who grows up in this part of town. Shri N P Bhalodia High School has been part of the local landscape for a long time. The building shows its age a bit, but it serves its purpose. Every morning, the street fills up with cycles and students walking in for their first period. It’s a high school, so things are usually a bit more serious than a primary school. You see students huddled in groups talking about their upcoming tests or just hanging out near the entrance before the bell rings. The classrooms have high ceilings and those old wooden desks that have seen many years of use. We don't have a lot of flashy equipment, just chalkboards and textbooks. During the monsoon, the sound of the rain on the roof can be pretty loud, making it hard to hear the teacher sometimes. Junagadh is a busy place, and being on College Road means there is always traffic noise in the background. We just get on with the lessons. The staff room is usually cluttered with stacks of notebooks waiting to be checked. It’s a plain, functional place where kids from the city come to finish their schooling. No one puts on airs here; it’s just about getting the work done so the students can move on to whatever comes next after graduation.
