A P Patel Secondary School

Our school, A P Patel Secondary School, is situated on Bilkha Road over in the Plasva area. It’s part of the bigger Tapovan Sankul complex in Junagadh. Most of us who work here have been around for a long time. The secondary students are usually busy with their exams and studying. It’s a relatively quiet spot because we are away from the main city rush. We have a playground that gets a lot of use during the afternoon breaks. The classrooms are basic with old benches, nothing too special to look at. We have some trees around the yard which is nice when it gets hot in the afternoon. Teachers walk to work or take the bus from the city. We spend a lot of time grading papers in the small staff room and talking to parents who stop by after work. The gate stays open in the morning and then we lock it up to keep the kids inside until the day is done. Sometimes the local cows wander close to the fence to graze. It's just a regular school day for us. We don't have big events or celebrations every week, just the normal classes. Kids from Plasva and other parts of Junagadh come here. We try to keep the place tidy but with so many students, it's a constant job for the cleaners. We have the 362015 zip code. It’s a decent place to be every day, nothing flashy or loud. It is just a school.
