If you’re looking for us, we’re right there next to the Bhagya Laxmi Apartment in Junagadh. Shardamani Vidhya Mandir isn’t hard to find if you know the area. The school sits tucked away in this neighborhood and it gets pretty lively around 8 AM. We have a lot of kids coming from the nearby streets. The building isn't huge, but we make the most of the rooms we have. Some days the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but once the doors are closed, it’s mostly just the sound of teachers talking and the occasional bird on the roof. We don't have a massive playground, but there's enough space for the children to run around during their break. We spend a lot of time organizing the registers and making sure the classrooms are ready for the next lesson. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just open the windows and keep going with the natural light. It gets warm, especially in the afternoons. Our staff room is usually piled high with notebooks waiting to be checked by the teachers. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized. We’ve seen many groups of students pass through these doors over the years. Some of the desks have scratches on them from years of use, but they still hold up fine. We just try to keep a steady routine for the kids who come here every day. The neighbors are used to the sound of the school bell by now.
