Eklavya Public School

You can find us over on Zanzarda Road, near Phoolvatika in Junagadh. It’s a busy part of town, especially with the traffic heading towards Balotra. The school building has been standing for a while, and it shows its age in some spots, but it’s sturdy. We’ve got a lot of students coming from the nearby neighborhoods. The playground gets really dusty when the wind picks up, which is pretty often around here. Inside, it’s just rows of wooden benches and blackboards. We don’t have those fancy digital screens in every room, just the basics that work. The staff is mostly local people who’ve lived in Junagadh their whole lives. We keep the gates shut during school hours so the kids stay put. Sometimes the fans make a bit of a clicking noise, and we have to remind the boys to stop running in the corridors. It’s a typical school day, starting early and ending with a lot of noise when the bell rings. We handle the admissions ourselves right in the front office, which is usually a bit cluttered with forms and old registers. It’s not a shiny corporate office, just a place where we sit and talk to parents. We’re just a regular school on a regular street, trying to keep things moving forward for the kids in this part of town.
