Ambuja Cement Limited

This is the Ambuja Cement Limited plant over in Ambuja Nagar, right near Kodnar Nagar. We are situated quite close to National Highway 8A, which makes it easier for the big transport trucks to move in and out all day long. Working at a cement plant means there is always noise and a bit of dust in the air. We handle a lot of the heavy lifting and manufacturing side of things here. It is a large site, not like a small shop you see on the corner. Every day, there are shifts of people making sure the machinery is running and the bags are getting filled correctly. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on the output. Being so close to the highway is the main thing because it keeps the logistics moving. If the trucks get stuck, everything slows down, so we keep an eye on that. The area around here is mostly industrial, and you can see the plant from a distance because of its size. It’s a lot of manual work and monitoring. We have been part of the landscape here for a good while. It's a busy environment where everyone has a specific job to do, whether it’s at the gate or back by the kilns. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished before the day ends.
