Neelkanth Sand Stone.Ind

Out here at G-48 in the Stone Park area of Mandor, things are always a bit gritty. Dealing with sandstone means there is always a layer of dust on everything, including the tea cups. We’ve been running Neelkanth Sand Stone.Ind from this yard for a while. The work is heavy and it definitely keeps you tired by the end of the shift. We spend our time moving large slabs around with the crane and making sure the cuts are roughly where they need to be. It’s not a quiet place at all. Between the saws running and the trucks idling, you have to raise your voice just to be heard across the yard. The sun gets really intense in Mandor, so we usually have a shaded area where we sit for lunch and try to cool off. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of what we have is just sitting out in the open, stacked up and ready to go. It’s a very hands-on type of life. My boots are always worn out every few months because of the rough ground and the weight of the stone. We don't really do much marketing or anything; folks just know where we are in the park and they stop by when they need material for a project. It’s basic, hard work that doesn't change much from one day to the next, which is fine by us.
