Mayur Exports

Mayur Exports is out in the Heavy Industrial Area at G-1/85. It’s a dusty part of town with a lot of heavy trucks moving through the streets all day long. You can hear the noise of the neighboring plants from our warehouse floor constantly. We handle a lot of different goods that go out to other countries. The sun really heats up the metal roof of the building, so it gets pretty warm by mid-afternoon. We have a small crew and we all know our roles well. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the crates are packed tight so nothing breaks during the journey. There’s a small office near the front where we do the paperwork, but most of the action happens in the back. The floors are concrete and have some cracks from years of moving heavy pallets around. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit or fancy shoes. We mostly wear old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. There’s a little shop down the road where we get lunch, usually whatever they’ve cooked up for the day. We don’t have fancy signs or a big lobby to impress people. Just the name on the gate and a lot of work to get through. It’s about getting the shipments out on the right day and hoping the trucks don’t get stuck in traffic for too long.
