Kankaria Overseas

We’re located in the Kankaria Building on First 'A' Road in Sardarpura. It’s a decent area, and we’ve been here long enough that the local postman knows us by name. Kankaria Overseas is basically run from a couple of rooms that stay pretty cluttered with files. We handle a lot of logistics and overseas stuff, so there’s always a lot of tracking numbers and shipping labels laying around. It isn't a huge operation. We mostly sit at our desks, answering emails and making sure the containers are moving where they should be. Sometimes things get stuck at the port, and those are the days we end up drinking too much coffee. The building itself is an older one. The elevator is a bit slow, so we usually just take the stairs. Sardarpura is a busy part of town, so there’s always something happening outside the window. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s just a handful of us working together. We try to be practical about things. If a problem comes up, we just talk it through and find a way to solve it. It’s not always easy, especially when time zones are involved, but we manage. Most of our clients have been working with us for a long time, so they know what to expect. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day.
