Jinay Crafts

Jinay Crafts is located at 51 Transport Nagar, in the Basni Phase-II area. Being in Transport Nagar means we are surrounded by trucks and warehouses, so it is a very industrial kind of setting. Our workshop is where the actual crafting happens. It is loud, and there is always some kind of machine running or someone hammering away at something. We have a lot of raw materials sitting around—wood, metal, and fabric mostly. It is not the kind of place you would come to if you wanted a quiet sit-down. We are usually in our work clothes, covered in whatever we are working with that day. The team here has been doing this for years, and we just know the rhythm of the place. We don’t really have a front desk or a receptionist; if you walk in, you’ll probably just find one of us working in the back. Sometimes we run out of a specific material and have to wait for a delivery, which slows things down, but that is part of the job. We focus on making things that are solid and do what they are supposed to do. It’s a practical way to spend a day, and we like the fact that we can see the progress of our work from start to finish right here in Basni. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do best.
