Jagaji Namkeen

Our place is over at Ram Nagar 72, inside the Chopasni Housing Board area. It’s a residential spot, so a lot of families come by. We specialize in namkeen, and the fryers are usually going from early morning. Warmth in the back is just part of the job. No fancy storefront with neon signs exists here. It’s just a practical space where we can pack up the snacks and get them to the customers. Neighbors in the housing board know where to find us when they need something crunchy for tea time. Machinery isn't used much; a lot of it is still done by hand because that’s the way we’ve always done it. Expanding into a giant corporation isn't something we're trying to do. We’re happy right here in Ram Nagar. The address 72 is where most of our waking hours are spent. Focusing on the salt, the spices, and the crunch is the daily routine. If the batch isn't right, it doesn't get sold. It’s that simple. A website or a big office isn't part of the setup. If you want to talk to us, just coming to the shop is best. Direct ways of doing things are what we like. It’s an honest living making snacks for our neighbors. Most days are the same, filled with the smell of spices and the sound of packing bags. We wouldn't have it any other way. Frying and packing continues until the day is done and it’s time to go home.
