Marwar Mathania Ydhyog is located right in the middle of B-11/B, Mandore Krishi Mandi. Being in the Mandi means it is always noisy and full of trucks. We deal with various agricultural goods, mostly things that come in large sacks. The air here is often thick with the smell of what is being traded that day. Our space at B-11/B is basically a large shed with an office tucked into one corner. We spend the morning watching the loads come in and making sure everything is weighed right. It is a lot of dusty work, and we all end up with dirty hands by the time lunch rolls around. There is no air conditioning, just some big ceiling fans that struggle in the heat. We have been operating out of Mandore Krishi Mandi for a long time, so we know most of the drivers and the other traders. It is a tough business sometimes, depending on the harvest and the prices. We do not use a lot of fancy technology, just basic scales and ledger books to keep track of things. My nephew helps out with the loading when he is not at school. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the sacks are stored in a dry place. It is simple, hard work, but it is what we know how to do. You will usually find us here from dawn until the last truck leaves.
