Hotel Megh Niwas Kubes The Dj Lounge

Located at 30 Umed Club Road, our place has a long name, Hotel Megh Niwas Kubes The Dj Lounge, but we usually just call it the hotel or the lounge depending on where we are standing. We are in Jodhpur - 342001, right near the Circuit House, which is a spot everyone knows. Being centrally located means we get a lot of different people coming through the doors. The lounge part of the building has its own vibe, and we spend a lot of time making sure the sound system is working right and the lights are set. On the hotel side, it’s more about the usual chores of laundry and cleaning. Umed Club Road can get busy, especially in the evenings when people are heading out. We’ve got a mix of old stone and newer additions here. Sometimes the plumbing in the older part of the building acts up, and we have to call the guy who knows how to fix it. We don't really have a big mission statement. We just open the doors and handle whatever comes our way during the shift. The staff knows most of the regulars by name. We see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood. It’s a busy life juggling the rooms and the lounge, but it’s what we do here in Jodhpur. We just try to keep the place tidy.
