Shri Ram International Hotel,Jodhpur

Our place is tucked away inside Nagori Gate, right near Vijay Chowk. If you know Jodhpur, you know this part of town gets quite busy. We are very close to the Krishan Mandir, so you can often hear the sounds from the temple throughout the day. The hotel has been here for a good while, and we’re used to the narrow streets and the constant movement of people outside. We have rooms for guests and a kitchen that stays fairly busy during meal times. It’s not a fancy corporate setup; it’s more of a local business where everyone knows everyone else. The staff here mostly grew up in Rajasthan, so we understand the local way of doing things. We spend a lot of time cleaning, changing linens, and making sure the water is running right. Sometimes the city noise carries into the hallways, but that is just life in the heart of Jodhpur. People come here because it's convenient for seeing the older parts of the city without traveling too far. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just answer the phones and help people find their way when they get lost looking for the gate, which happens a lot. It's a simple operation. We open up early, stay late, and try to keep the place tidy for whoever walks through the door next. Being near the temple gives the area a specific feel that you don't get elsewhere.
