Guru Nanak Vaishnav Hotel

If you are around the Paota area in Jodhpur, you might have seen our hotel on Paota B Road. We are situated right across from the UCO Bank. It is a simple place where we serve vegetarian food to people who are passing through or working nearby. We call it a hotel, but it is really more of a small eatery. We don't serve any meat or eggs here. It has always been a strictly Vaishnav place. The interior is very basic. We have some wooden tables and chairs that have been around for a long time. It isn't the kind of place where you go for a fancy date. It is where you go when you are hungry and want a meal that feels like it was made at home. We do all the cooking in the back kitchen. It's quite small and gets very warm, especially during the Jodhpur summers. We have a few regular customers who come in every single day for their lunch. We know their names and what they like to eat. We don't have a website or any social media pages. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to come in. It is a quiet life. My father started this place years ago and not much has changed since then. We just keep doing what we know how to do best.
