Chandra Vilas

Chandra Vilas is located on High Court Road, right near Sojati Gate. It’s a busy intersection where there’s always something happening, from lawyers rushing to court to tourists exploring the old city. Our place has been here for a while, and it feels like part of the neighborhood fabric. It’s not a polished, modern building; it has that older, sturdy feel you find in this part of town. The rooms are a bit high-ceilinged, and the floors are worn down from years of people walking over them. We don't have a lot of fancy branding or marketing stuff around the office. Most of our decorations are just old calendars and maybe a few photos from years back. It gets pretty hot during the afternoons, so we usually have the coolers running full blast. We spend our time managing the daily tasks that keep the place going, whether that's sorting through papers or meeting with folks who stop by. It’s a very local way of doing things. We know the other shopkeepers nearby and often chat with them during breaks. There’s no big corporate strategy here, just a group of people who have worked together for a long time and know how to get things done without making a fuss about it. We’ve seen the city change a lot over the years, but we’ve mostly stayed the same. We just keep our doors open and handle whatever the day brings us, one step at a time. It’s just how we operate.
