Arun Hotel

Our hotel is right outside Sojati Gate in Jodhpur, very close to the police station. It’s a busy spot because Sojati Gate is a major entry point for the old city. We see a lot of people coming and going every day. Some are tourists looking for a place to stay while they see the fort, and others are just here for a quick business trip. The building has been here for years, and it shows its age in some spots, but we keep it tidy. It’s not one of those big luxury hotels you see in magazines. It’s just a regular place with rooms for people who need a bed for the night. The noise from the street is always there, especially with the market and the traffic nearby, but that’s just part of being in the heart of Jodhpur. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a five-star restaurant. There is usually someone at the desk to help with check-ins or to tell you where to find a good meal nearby. The rooms are simple and functional. We don't spend money on big ads because most of our guests just walk in from the street or have stayed with us before. It’s a family-run kind of feeling here, and we just try to make sure guests have what they need without making a big deal out of it. It gets loud during festivals, but that’s life in the city center.
