This isn't a factory with huge automated machines. It is more about the people who make the carpets and durries by hand. We have been in this neighborhood for a long time. The street is narrow, and you’ll often hear the sounds of work coming from the houses nearby. We are a producer company, so it is a group effort among friends and neighbors. We don't have a big corporate office with air conditioning or fancy chairs. We work in the rooms we have. It gets dusty with all the thread and fabric, but that’s just the nature of the job. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work is known by word of mouth in Narwana and the surrounding areas. We just make the carpets and the durries as best as we can. Some days the colors don't come out quite right or a loom needs fixing, which takes up time. We just deal with it. It’s honest, manual work. We aren't trying to be fancy or modern. We just want to keep the tradition going and make sure everyone involved has work to do. It's a simple life here in Hanuman Nagar. We show up, we do the weaving, and we go home.
