Our place is at 1242/25 in Bhatnagar Colony, just off Rohtak Road in Jind. Atulaya Beemaster Producer Company Limited is all about the bees. It started as a hobby for a couple of us and then it just grew into something bigger than we expected. We aren't your typical agriculture business. Dealing with bees is a whole different world compared to growing wheat or rice. Our office in Bhatnagar Colony is often filled with the smell of wax and honey. We spend a lot of time out in the fields where the hives are placed, then we come back here to handle the processing and all the paperwork. It’s a small team, and we do almost everything ourselves. We didn't want to work for a big company, so we formed this producer group to help each other out. Jind is a good place for this, with enough variety in the plants for the bees to stay healthy. Sometimes the stings are bad, and sometimes the weather kills off a colony, which is always tough to see. We just take the good days with the bad. We don't have a polished sales team or brochures. We just talk to people about how honey is actually made and why we do it this way. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy throughout the year. If you're near Rohtak Road, you can usually find one of us around the colony working on some equipment. We like it.
