Data Singhwala Farmer Producer Companylimited is based right here at house number one in Data Singhwala village. We’ve been around this part of Narwana in Jind for a long time now. Most of the people working here are just local folks who grew up around these fields. It gets pretty busy during harvest season, and you’ll see tractors moving up and down the main road all day long. Our office isn't much to look at, just a practical space where we can sit down and talk about what the farmers need for the coming month. We spend a lot of time talking about weather patterns and seed prices because that's what matters to us. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what we know. Sometimes the dust from the fields gets everywhere, and we’re constantly cleaning the windows. But that’s just part of being in the rural side of Jind. We know the land here is good if you treat it right. People stop by all the time just to have a chat or ask about what’s going on with the market. We don’t have any big speeches to give. We just handle the business of the farm collective day by day. It’s a lot of physical work and paperwork mixed together. We like it quiet, and mostly it is, except when the machinery is running. We’re just a group of people from the village trying to make things work for everyone around here. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the changes in the seasons.
