Jit Bricks

We are located at No 189-A in Brajraj Nagar, right in the heart of the Ib Valley area. It is a place that feels very industrial because of everything going on in Jharsuguda. At Jit Bricks, we don't have any big corporate signs or a fancy entrance. It is just a wide-open yard where the work happens every day. The ground is usually covered in coal dust and red earth, which is pretty typical for this part of the state. We have been making bricks here for a long time, and we have a small crew that has been with us through many seasons. The work is hard and it is mostly done by hand, which keeps us busy from sunrise until it gets too dark to see. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just focus on getting the kilns fired up and making sure the bricks stay together. When the wind blows through the valley, it can get a bit chilly, but the heat from the fires usually keeps everyone warm enough. We sit around on plastic chairs during lunch and talk about the news or the local gossip. It is a slow kind of life, even though the work itself is quite heavy. We just take it one load at a time and keep the stacks growing in the yard.
