Sonupar Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our office is in Dudhalira, which is in the Sonupar area of Basti. It's not a city like Lucknow, so things are a bit slower here. We are a farmer producer company. Basically, that means a bunch of us got together to handle our crops and sales as a group. It makes things easier when you have a few heads together. We work out of a small building at 01 Dudhalira. It’s right there in the middle of where the work happens. We don't have air conditioning or fancy furniture. Mostly just benches and a few tables where we sort out the accounts. Basti is a place where everyone knows everyone, so we don't need to do much talking about ourselves. People just know we are here. We deal with the harvests, mostly grain and whatever else is in season. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing with all the different farmers involved, but we manage. We spend more time in the fields than behind a desk, to be honest. That’s where the real work is. When the sun goes down, we finish up the logs and head home. It’s a life built around the seasons and the rain. We don't use big words or have meetings that last for hours. We just decide what needs to be done for the next crop and do it together as a team.
