Krishidev Fertilizers & Seeds Limited is run by Kaleem Ahmad over at Baghi Chaumar Khan in Jaunpur. It’s a local operation, and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for quite some time. We deal mostly with fertilizers and seeds, which are the basics of life around here. Our office isn't anything special. It’s just a room with some sturdy tables and a lot of ledgers. Jaunpur is a place where people value hard work, so we try to live up to that. We aren't here to sell you something you don't need. We just provide what the farmers ask for when the planting season comes around. Sometimes the rains are late, and everyone is stressed, but we stay open and keep talking to folks. Kaleem is usually around to handle things personally. We like being in Baghi Chaumar Khan because it’s close to the people who actually use our products. We don't have a big corporate ladder or anything like that. If there's a problem, we just fix it. It’s a very direct way of doing things. The building is old but it holds up well against the heat. We don't use much air conditioning, just a few fans going to keep the air moving. If you need to find us, just ask anyone in the local market for the seed shop. We’re just regular people trying to help the local farms stay productive and keep things moving.
