Sanjay Brass

Sanjay Brass is tucked away on Road Number 3 in Patel Colony. We have been at number 10 for a long time. It is a quiet enough street, mostly other small workshops and houses mixed together. We work with brass every day, so the smell of metal is just part of the air here. It is a small setup, nothing too big or complicated. We have a few lathes and some basic tools that have served us well over the years. The neighbors know us, and we know them. Sometimes we sit outside for a tea break when the heat gets too much inside the shop. Handling brass takes a bit of a feel for the material, which you only get by doing it day after day. We do not have a website or anything like that, just the shop and our hands. If someone needs something made out of brass, they usually just walk in or call the landline. We try to keep things simple. No big meetings or long emails. Just tell us what you need and we will see if we can do it. Sometimes the raw material prices go up and down, which is a headache, but that is just how the market works. We have seen kids grow up in this colony while we have been working here at number 10. It feels like home to us now. The floor is always covered in those tiny yellow shavings that get stuck in your boots after work.
