India Brass Foundry

India Brass Foundry is located at B-ten in the M P Shah Udhyog Nagar, right off Saru Section Road. It’s a heavy-duty kind of area. If you come by, you’ll hear the sounds of metal and machines before you even see the door. We’ve been doing this for years, and the place shows it. It’s a bit dark inside and smells like hot metal, which is just part of the trade. We don't have fancy office chairs or air conditioning in the main work area. It’s tough work, and the guys here put in a lot of effort every day. We usually start when the sun comes up to beat the worst of the heat. Most of the people who work here have been with us for a long time, so we’re more like a bunch of old friends than just coworkers. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or using big words to describe what we do. We just melt the brass and make the parts people ask for. Sometimes the furnace gives us trouble, or a shipment of raw material is late, and we just have to figure it out as we go. It’s a basic operation, but we take it seriously in our own quiet way. There’s always a layer of dust on everything, but that’s just life in a foundry. We just keep our heads down and get the production finished as best as we can.
