Anand Brass Components

We are tucked away at Plot No. 4110-11 on H-Road in GIDC Phase-III. Finding us can be a bit tricky if you don't know the Bhaggyoday Chowk area well. It's a busy part of the industrial zone. We spend our days working with brass. There's always a bit of metal shavings on the floor, no matter how much we sweep. The machines make a rhythmic clicking sound that we’ve all grown accustomed to. It’s mostly small components we’re making, so you have to have steady hands. The light in the workshop isn't the brightest, but we have lamps at the stations where the fine work happens. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a magazine. It’s a working shop with grease on the handles and heavy metal bins stacked against the walls. We take our tea breaks outside on the bench when the weather is decent. The monsoon season is the hardest because the road outside gets quite muddy and the trucks have a tough time. We don't have a fancy lobby for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our work shirts, likely busy with a lathe or checking a measurement. It’s honest work, and we take it one day at a time. The neighbors at the other plots are mostly doing similar work, so we all get along fine. We don't have many meetings, we just look at the drawings and start the machines.
