Arjan Industries

Arjan Industries is over at Plot 3034/2 in GIDC Phase-3 in Dared. If you’ve ever been to Jamnagar, you know the Dared area is huge and full of industries making all sorts of things, mostly out of brass and other metals. Our shop is just one of many in this phase. We’ve been here for quite a while now. The space is filled with machines that run for most of the day. It’s hot and it’s loud, but that’s the nature of the work. We make various metal parts and components. There’s no fancy air conditioning in the workshop, just big fans that try to move the air around. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years. We usually start the morning with a quick talk about what needs to be shipped out. Phase-3 is a bit of a trek from the main city, but it’s where all the real work happens. You’ll find metal shavings on your shoes and grease on your hands by the time you leave here. We don't do much in the way of marketing. Most of our orders come from people we’ve known for a decade. It’s just about keeping the machines in good shape and getting the parts out the door. Dared is a tough place to work, but we like the community of makers here. We often stay late on Saturdays to finish up the week.
