Savitri Shiv Shakti Institutes Education

We are Savitri Shiv Shakti Institutes Education, located over in the Bikram Chowk area of Srinagar. It is a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of movement outside our doors. We chose this spot because it’s easy for people to reach from different parts of the city. Our building isn't anything modern; it’s just a regular local spot with several rooms we’ve turned into study spaces. The name is a bit long, so most people just call us the institute at the chowk. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place running, like fixing the chairs or making sure we have enough chalk and markers. The rooms have large windows that look out toward the street, so you can see the buses and cars going by all day long. It can be a bit distracting, so we put up some thin curtains to help everyone focus. We don't have a big staff or a fancy website. It’s mostly just us doing the day-to-day tasks like answering the door and helping students find the right classroom. Every morning starts with a quick sweep of the floors and checking that the benches are lined up. We like the honesty of this kind of work. It’s practical and keeps us busy. If you are ever passing through Bikram Chowk, you’ll likely see our door open. We stay late most evenings because that is when most of the older students have time to stop by.
