J K College sits at 73A10 in Gandhinagar, Jammu. It’s a solid part of the neighborhood and has been for a good while. We’ve got students coming in and out all day, which keeps the energy up around the building. The address is pretty easy to find once you get into the 73A block. It’s a typical Jammu building, nothing too flashy on the outside, but it serves its purpose well. Inside, there are classrooms and a few offices where we keep all the paperwork. We don’t have fancy lounges or anything like that. Instead, there are just benches and desks where the learning happens. The walls have a few posters and the hallways can be a bit narrow when everyone is moving between classes. We like the location here in Gandhinagar because it’s central for many of our staff and students. It feels like a real community space. We deal with the usual stuff like power cuts or making sure there’s enough water for everyone, just like any other place in the city. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s ours and it works. We’ve seen many faces come through these doors over the years. Every morning we open up, sweep the floors, and get ready for the day ahead. It’s just how things go here at 73A10. We’re just glad to be a part of the local education scene. The days are long, but we’ve got a good routine going now and we feel like we are making a real difference.
