Mohtras Institutes

We’ve been set up at Kacchi Chawni for a good while now. It’s a busy part of town, right here in the middle of Srinagar 180001. Mohtras Institutes isn’t a fancy place with big glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a few simple rooms where people come to learn and sit with their books. Most of the time it stays pretty quiet, unless the classes are just letting out for the day. We started this because there wasn’t much else around this area at the time. The desks we use are a bit old, but they work just fine for what we need. We don’t spend money on big ads or flyers. Most people usually find us because their cousins or neighbors came here before them and told them where we were. It’s a real local spot. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just open up the windows to let the light in and keep going. We handle all the paperwork and cleaning ourselves. It’s mostly just us keeping things running from day to day. If you walk down the main lane, you’ll see our small sign. It’s nothing special, just a place for students to sit down and focus on their studies. We try to keep the chairs clean and the lights bright enough to see. Living and working here in Jammu & Kashmir means you get used to the local pace. Kacchi Chawni has its own rhythm, and we’re just a small part of it.
