Crosstream Consulting Pvt. Ltd is based out of Bharat Nagar in the Talab Tillo area of Jammu. Our address is B/44, and it’s a fairly quiet neighborhood compared to the city center. Jammu and Kashmir has its own pace of life, and we try to stick to that here. The office is basically a house that we converted so we could have a place to meet and get our consulting work done. It feels a lot more like a home than a business sometimes, especially when someone brings in snacks from the market. We have been working from here for a while, dealing with the local weather which can get quite intense. In the winter, we all huddle around a few heaters to stay warm while we look at spreadsheets. The 180 002 zip code is where we call home. We don’t have any fancy boardrooms. Usually, we just sit around the main table and talk through whatever project is on the go. It’s a small operation, but we manage to keep busy. Most of the neighbors know us by now. We try to be helpful and stay out of the way. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment, but we take the work seriously enough to stay until the job is finished. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just take a break until it comes back on.
