Basra Farmers Producer Company Limited is located in the area of Qaimoh, specifically in a place called Srandoo. You can find us through Parvaiz Ahmad Bhat, who helps manage the whole thing. This is a community effort where the local farmers have come together to try and make things a bit easier for everyone. We don’t have a big fancy building; our headquarters is basically just a local spot where we can gather and talk shop. Qaimoh is a place where agriculture is the main thing people do, so we fit right in. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the logistics of moving crops and making sure the farmers get their fair share. It’s not always smooth sailing; sometimes there are disagreements about how to handle the sales, or the weather ruins a perfectly good batch of produce. But we sit down, have some tea, and work it out like neighbors do. We don’t use any corporate jargon or have long, boring meetings. Our discussions are about real things like fertilizer, seeds, and the price of labor. Parvaiz keeps the records straight, which is a big job given how many of us are involved. It’s a very local, hands-on way to run a company. We just want to keep our farming traditions going while making sure we don't get left behind by the bigger markets outside of Srandoo. It takes a lot of work.
