Makwalagro Farmer Producer Company Limited is located over in the Chak Sarda area of Jammu. Our main contact point is Ravi Kumar’s place in Desa Singh. We are right there in the 180003 area. Farming in this part of Jammu has its own set of challenges with the soil and the water supply. We are a producer company, which basically means we are run by the farmers ourselves. We started this because it was getting too hard to manage everything alone and the costs were going up. At Ravi Kumar’s house, we have a small space where we meet up to talk. It’s usually full of tea cups and stacks of papers that need signing. We don't have uniforms or a fancy logo on the wall like big companies do. We just wear our regular work clothes and boots.
