Kurlon Limited

Our office is located at House Number 49 on the East Extension Road in Baghat. If you know Srinagar, you know that Baghat is a decent area but the winters here can make everything slow down quite a bit. We represent Kurlon in this part of Kashmir. It is mostly about making sure people have comfortable mattresses to sleep on when it gets freezing outside. The house we work from is an old style building, and we have adapted it for our business needs. We spend a lot of time talking to local furniture shops and making sure our deliveries can get through the mountain passes when the snow starts falling. Sometimes the roads are blocked for days, so we have to plan our stock way in advance. It is not an easy job managing logistics in the valley, but we have been doing it long enough to know the tricks. We keep a stove going in the office during the cold months to stay warm while we check the ledgers. Our staff is local, so we understand the needs of the families here. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just sell mattresses and pillows. It is a practical business. When the sun is out, Baghat is a nice place to be, and we enjoy the routine of our work even when the weather makes things complicated for our trucks.
