Our office is right across from the Dhudha Dhari Temple in Gandhi Nagar. If you know that landmark, you can find us easily at House No. 9-A on the Extension Road. We are Gammon India Ltd. being based here in Jammu. The temple keeps the area busy, especially on certain days, so there is always some activity outside the windows. It’s a decent spot for an office, though parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes when the crowds are big across the street. Inside, it's just a normal workplace. We have our files and our computers and we get on with the day's business. Jammu is our home base for this part of the country. The 180004 area code is pretty familiar to everyone around here. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or making things look like a magazine. It's about the work. Some of the staff have been here for years, others are newer, but we all just do our jobs. We drink a lot of tea while we're at it. The building itself is okay, nothing special, just a solid place to work from. We like being near the temple because it makes the directions easy for people coming to visit. You just tell them to look for the temple and then find 9-A. That's our daily life here at Gammon India Ltd. in J&K. We just keep our heads down and get the tasks done.
