Indian Army

Living in these DDA MIG flats in Shivam Enclave is pretty quiet mostly. We handle stuff for the Indian Army from here, though it's basically just an office in a residential spot. The 64D block has been our base for a while now. Most days it's just dealing with files and making sure things get where they need to go in Delhi. It isn't a huge barracks or anything fancy like you see on TV. It's just us at our desks. You know how it is in Delhi-110032, the traffic can be a real headache some mornings but we manage. We’ve been around this area for a bit. People in the building know us. It’s a lot of routine work, checking documents and keeping everything organized. Sometimes the power goes out but we just carry on. There isn't much to say other than we are just part of the local scene here. It's a small space, really. We keep the paperwork moving. It feels like home because it basically is. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years. The tea stall nearby is where we usually end up during breaks. It’s just regular life for us, doing what needs doing for the office. We don't have a big sign or anything. Just the address. It’s practical. We get the job done and go home, or stay here if the work piles up. That’s how it goes for us.
