Sunrise Tourism

If you know Siliguri at all, you know how hectic the N J P Railway Station Road gets. It is always loud with the sounds of horns, rickshaws, and people dragging their heavy luggage across the pavement. We are right there in the middle of it, specifically in the Babu Para area. Sunrise Tourism has been based here for quite some time now because this is where all the action happens. When the trains pull into NJP, the whole street seems to wake up, no matter what time of day or night it is. Our office is not anything too special to look at, just a practical space where we keep our logs and take our calls. We spend a lot of our time just watching the crowd go by while we wait for the next booking to come through the door. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast. Being in Babu Para means we are close to everything, which is handy when we need to grab a quick chai or run an errand nearby. We do not really do big advertisements; most people just find us because they are walking from the station and need some help with their travel plans. It is a bit of a squeeze sometimes when it is busy, but we manage just fine. We have seen the station road change over the years, but we are still here doing our thing. (250 words)
