Our place is in Shahapur, specifically at House Number 191. We are part of the Ambad area here in Jalna district. Mane Kalbande Agro Producer Company Limited is just a group of us from the neighborhood who decided to work together. It’s not a corporate office with fancy glass doors. It’s a practical spot where we keep our records and meet with other farmers. The roads around here can get pretty dusty in the summer, and that dust finds its way into everything. We spend a lot of our time out in the fields, checking how things are growing. Sometimes we sit on the porch of the house and talk about the grain prices or the cost of diesel. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy. We don’t have a big staff, just a few local guys who know how to work the land. Last year the rains were a bit late, which caused some worry, but we got through it. We aren't doing anything revolutionary. We just handle the storage and the transport of what we grow. People know where to find us if they need to talk. We keep some of the equipment in the back shed, and there’s always something that needs a bit of oil or a new part. That’s just how it is running a business in a village. We take it one day at a time and try to stay honest. It's not always easy but it is what we do.
