We are located at H.No. 227 in Deulzari, which is over in the Jaffrabad part of Jalna. The house belongs to Kaveribai Gajanan Bhopale. It’s a quiet spot, but there’s always something going on with the farm work. Akhand Lakshmi Alankrut Farmers Producer is basically just a way for us to pull our resources together. Farming in this part of Maharashtra isn't easy, especially with the way the weather has been lately. One day it’s dry as a bone, and the next, everything is soaked. We spend most of our time out in the fields or meeting up at the house to talk about seeds and fertilizer. There’s no big office with computers everywhere. The name of the company sounds a bit grand, but the reality is much more down-to-earth. We just want to make sure the crops grow and that we can look after our families. It’s a lot of physical labor and constant worrying about the rain, but we are used to it by now. That is just how life goes for us.
