Sunny Side Up

You can find Sunny Side Up at Sco 7 in the New Jawahar Nagar Market. Jalandhar is a busy city, and this market is one of those places where there is always something happening. We’ve been here for a bit now, serving the local crowd. It is a small spot, just a typical Sco unit. We didn't do much to change the outside, but inside we try to keep it comfortable. We mostly handle breakfast and light meals. The morning is our busiest time when people are just starting their day or finishing up their morning walks. Our team is small, usually just three or four of us behind the counter and in the kitchen. We don't use any fancy equipment; it’s just standard stovetops and a lot of hustle. The market can be a bit of a nightmare for parking sometimes, but people still manage to find us. We know a lot of our customers by their first names because they come in almost every day. It feels like a little community here. We don't have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just wake up early, get the eggs and bread ready, and open the doors. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we like being right in the heart of Jalandhar City. We just want to make sure the food is hot and the coffee is ready.
