Sahib Flour Mills

Sahib Flour Mills is located in Basti Bawa Khel on Kapurthala Road, right across from the Sports & Surgical Complex. You can’t miss it because of the location and the general activity around the gate. The mill is a busy place, and there is always a fine layer of dust on everything, which is just part of the job. You hear the constant hum of the machinery from the moment you walk onto the property. It’s a loud place, so we often have to shout to be heard over the grinders. Kapurthala Road is always moving with trucks and tractors. We have a small office near the entrance where the paperwork gets handled, but most of the action is in the back. The workers are used to the heavy bags and the long hours. We don’t have any air conditioning in the main area, so it gets pretty warm during the summer months. There are usually a few trucks parked outside waiting to load or unload. People from around the area know us well because we’ve been sitting opposite the Sports & Surgical Complex for ages. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or advertising. We just focus on keeping the mill running and making sure the grain is processed. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do every day. It's a no-nonsense environment and we like it that way.
