Shining Stars Senior Secondary School

You can find us at building number 41-42 in Harbans Nagar. This is Jalandhar City, so it’s always quite lively around here. Shining Stars Senior Secondary School has been operating out of these buildings for years. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes because we’ve added bits and pieces over time. We have students from all over the 144001 area. The stairs are a bit steep and the paint is peeling in a few corners, but it’s a solid place. We don't have a fancy website with lots of photos. We prefer to just show people around if they drop by. The classrooms are filled with old desks and the teachers' tables are usually buried under stacks of homework. We spend a lot of time grading papers and talking to students who are struggling with their math or science. It’s a lot of hard work for everyone. During the lunch break, the whole place smells like different kinds of parathas from the kids' tiffins. It’s a very local atmosphere. We don't try to be something we’re not. We are just a school in Harbans Nagar trying to help the older kids get through their exams. It’s a bit chaotic sometimes, but we manage to get things done. We’ve been here so long that we’re just part of the local scenery now. We just do the teaching day by day.
