This is R S Rice & General Mills. We are located in Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar, specifically in Tehsil Nawashahr. Our place sits right where Ludhiana Road and Kalyan Road meet. It is a big spot because we have the actual mill running here. You can hear the machines going most of the day and night. It is quite loud and there is always a bit of white dust from the rice processing in the air. We have been working this land and this mill for a long time now. It is not a fancy office job by any means. We are out there on the floor every single day making sure things work. Nawashahr is a good place for this kind of business. We get grains from the local farmers nearby and process them right here. The intersection of Ludhiana Road and Kalyan Road makes it easy for the trucks to come and go with the loads. Sometimes the traffic gets backed up, especially when it is harvest season. We do not have a lot of time for sitting around or chatting. R S Rice & General Mills is a busy operation. We have a few guys who help us with all the heavy lifting. It is hard physical work, and our clothes usually end up covered in rice dust. We don't use any big fancy words. We just mill the rice and handle the goods.
