Psdp Swadeshi Food Products is located at Plot No. 958/5 in Gali No.7 of Patel Nagar. It’s a bit of a maze back here in the lanes, but once you find Gali 7, we are right there. We make various food items that people use in their homes every day. The kitchen area takes up most of the plot, and we try to keep things as clean as possible while we work. It’s a busy atmosphere with people moving around, boiling things, or packing finished products into boxes. We focus on traditional stuff, the kind of food we grew up eating. There’s no big fancy logo on the building, just the address and our name. We hire people from the local neighborhood in Patel Nagar to help out with the preparation. Sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time navigating the narrow street, but we’ve figured out a system over time. We aren't trying to be a massive brand you see on TV. We just want to make decent food products that taste like they should. The mornings are usually the most active time when the fresh batches are being prepared. By the afternoon, we are mostly sealing bags and getting things ready for the shops that buy from us. It’s honest work and it keeps the kitchen fires burning. We do our best with what we have and keep the quality steady for our regular buyers.
