Oasis International

We set up shop near Nakodar Chowk a while ago. It is a very busy part of the city, so there is always traffic and a lot of noise outside our windows. Being Oasis International sounds quite big, but we are just a small group of people working out of an office. Our desks are usually piled with papers, files, and folders because there is a lot of tracking to do for every job. We spend most of our day on the phone or checking emails to make sure shipments are moving where they should be without any trouble. It’s not the kind of place with fancy carpets or expensive art on the walls. We have calendars pinned up and a lot of half-empty coffee cups lying around most of the time. The chowk outside is a good landmark for people to find us, though it makes parking a bit of a headache sometimes. We deal with various goods and try to keep the logistics from getting too messy or delayed. Some days everything goes smooth, and other days there are delays at the port or on the road that we have to sit and figure out. It’s the kind of job where you are always waiting for a confirmation from someone else. We’ve been at this location for a bit now, and we like being in the thick of things. It’s a simple office life, nothing too dramatic, just regular work.
