We are located on Mall Road in Jalandhar, right near the Arya Samaj Mandir. Our address is H.No. 55-L. Being on Mall Road means there is always something happening outside our door. It’s a busy stretch with a lot of shops and people walking by. The office itself is an old house that was converted. It has high ceilings and those thick walls that keep the noise out fairly well. We have students and parents coming in and out throughout the day to talk about courses and tracks. The entrance has a small porch where people wait if it’s crowded inside. We try to keep things tidy, but with all the brochures and forms, it can get a bit cluttered. There is a big banyan tree just outside that provides some shade in the afternoons. Inside, we have a few partitions to give people some privacy when they are talking. The furniture is a mix of stuff we’ve bought over the years. It’s not a polished education center like the ones in the big cities. It feels more local and personal. We know most of the families who come to see us. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just part of life here. We’ve been at this location for years and it’s become a bit of a landmark for people in the neighborhood.
