King Rice & General Mills

We are down here in District Jalandhar on Palwal Road. It’s a pretty busy spot most of the time. We spend a lot of our days at the mill. It gets a bit dusty as you can imagine. Rice is everywhere you look. It is hard work but it is just what we do here. The road outside is always full of trucks and bikes going somewhere. Sometimes it gets quite loud but you get used to it. We have been in this location for a while now. You start to see the same faces passing by. It is not a fancy place. Just a regular mill on a long road. We keep the machines running and handle the grains. Some days are much longer than others. The weather in Jalandhar really changes how the day goes. Rain makes the road outside very muddy. The heat makes the inside of the mill stuffy. But the work stays the same regardless. We handle the rice and the general milling tasks. It is what King Rice & General Mills is all about. Just a local spot on Palwal Road. We don't have a big fancy office. Just the workspace. The walls are a bit worn and the main gate squeaks. But it works for us. We know the neighbors and they know us. It feels like a little community. Everyone is just trying to get through their shift. We do our bit with the milling. It’s a simple life really. Nothing too complicated.
