Jagdambay Rice Mills

We've been here in Banga for quite some time now, just running Jagdambay Rice Mills day in and day out. It's a lot of work getting the rice through the machines and keeping everything moving smoothly, but that's just how the days go around here. People know where we are in town, and we don't really move much from the mill. The noise of the machinery is something you get used to after a while. Most days involve checking on the bags and making sure the trucks get loaded without too much of a mess. It isn't a fancy setup, just some old walls and the smell of grain everywhere. My family has been involved with this for years, and we just keep the doors open and the rollers turning. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit tricky, especially when it rains, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, we just want to get the job done right. It's dusty work, and your clothes usually end up covered in husk by the time you go home. We just focus on the rice. Banga is a quiet enough place to work, and we like it that way. If you walk past, you'll see us there, usually busy with some pallet or another. We don't have a big office or anything, just the work floor and some storage space. That is basically what Jagdambay Rice Mills is about, just the daily routine of handling grain in our little corner of Banga. It stays pretty loud inside.
