D.S.Rice Mill

D.S. Rice Mill is located in Village Gurha, which is part of the Nawashar taluka. We are right on Rahon Road in the Nawashar district. It is a good spot because the road stays busy and it is easy for transport to get in and out. The mill itself is a sturdy building that has stood through many monsoons. Inside, it is usually a bit dark until we get the lights turned on and the machines started. The noise can be a lot if you are not used to it, but for us, it is just the sound of a normal day. We have a yard where we dry some of the grain when the sun is out. It takes a lot of effort to move everything around and make sure it is stored properly. We do not have any fancy lobby or receptionist. If you come by, you will probably find us near the machines or out back checking the stock. Our clothes always have a bit of grain stuck to them at the end of a shift. We have a small bench near the front where we sit and drink water. The people around Village Gurha are mostly farming families, so they understand the kind of work we do here. It is a simple life on Rahon Road. We just keep the mill running and do our best to stay ahead of the work pile.
