Cambridge International School

Our school is located on Plahi Road in Phagwara, which is quite close to the Chandigarh Road near Khanna. It’s a good spot because it’s easy for people coming from different directions to find us. The building has been here for a while, and it shows a bit of wear and tear, but we like it that way. The classrooms are large and have high ceilings, which helps when the summer heat starts to kick in. We have a gravel parking area out front where the teachers park their scooters and cars. The garden is small but we try to keep the plants watered when we have time between classes. Inside, the walls are covered with student projects and some old maps. We don't have any polished marketing slogans or a big corporate vibe. It’s mostly just us teachers and the support staff trying to keep things organized. The bells are loud enough to be heard all the way down the street. Sometimes the neighboring shops let us know if a kid is hanging around outside when they should be in class. It’s that kind of neighborhood where everyone watches out for each other. We spend our mornings checking the attendance and our afternoons making sure the buses are loaded up correctly. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we’ve got a good group of people here who have been doing this for a long time now.
