Bhoparai Rice Mill

Bhoparai Rice Mill is situated right in the middle of Village Alladadpur. It is a quiet place most of the year, until the harvest comes around. Then, the whole village seems to center around the mill. We have been a part of this community for a long time. My father started things here, and now we just keep it going. The building is made of brick and metal, and it has weathered a lot of storms. We don't have many employees, just a few local guys who know the machines as well as I do. We spend a lot of time fixing things when they break. You learn a lot about mechanics when you run a rice mill in a village. The air is always a bit dusty here, but you get used to it. We see the same farmers every single year. They bring their carts and tractors, and we catch up on the local news while we work. It is more than just a business; it is how we stay connected to everyone in Alladadpur. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. People just know where the Bhoparai mill is. We work hard during the day and usually finish up by the time the sun goes down, unless it’s the peak season. Then we might stay late under the lights. It is a simple, hardworking life, and we are fine with that. There is something satisfying about seeing the village fields produce and then seeing the bags stacked up in our shed.
